I'm so excited about the sock outfit sewing contest on DoA! (the contest is to make a bjd outfit using only socks) Socks are the material I'm most comfortable working with, ever since I got that Stupid Sock Creature book lol So this is perfect for me. I know I can't win, but at least it'll force me to do something half way productive.
I'm just unsure whether to enter the winter outfit made from fuzzy socks that I've been making or make a black and red outfit from my old Hot Topic socks. The hat and scarf for the winter outfit are already done and look really nice, but I'm not sure if people would vote for a winter outfit in the summer... I'll make both, post them here and ask what you guys think.

I'm starting to think there are no Hetalia fans within an hour radius ;_; NYC is like a magnet for them or something :/ (NJ too) I've always been happy living out in the country until now. Well, honestly, I had wished that there were more stores and food places around. We don't have much variety here. But now I wish I could be closer to other APH fans... It's so lonely out here. I only have 3 irl friends and there all related to eachother. Only one of them I see often. It's so easy to make friends online, but I guess that's because everyone on the comms I'm in has stuff in common with me. I don't get along with normal people at all (I can't understand or identify so social interaction is like being in a foreign country). So yeah, some other APH fans need to appear around here right now. I PMed this girl in Poughkeepsie who'll be at our October meet, but she doesn't seem like she wants to make friends because this is the 3rd way I've tried contacting her orz So we'll see how this goes. I just wanna hang with some people before school ;_; October is so far away.

While I'm at it, I think I'll also wish for more than 4 BJD collectors. And they could be BJD collectors that want to be friends outside of just monthly doll meets. And maybe they could live less than an hour away (that is asking alot, though. Even my bff lives 45 min away)

I'm not sure if my bjd sock outfit is coming well or not. My sewing skill is fine, between my knowledge of human clothes and sock parts, but I'm afraid that I'm too lacking in imagination and it will be too plain. I know I can't win, but I'd at least like a few people to vote for mine.
