Watching Yami no Matsuei again put me in the mood for more dark bishonen anime, so I 'asked John' about them ^^

It's the 3rd time he's answered a question of mine. He's so nice. And he writes so interesting and intelligently.

i'm going to have to disagree with him a bit this time, though. First of all, Yami, Angel Sanctuary, and X were all published in shoujo magazines (Hana to yume and Asuka). They're shoujo. It can't be argued ^^;; Weiss Kreuz might be debatable, though.

I think he's wrong on some of the series he listed, though. I mean, I wouldn't call Suteki Tantei 'bishonen' (bishota?). All the guys are like 11, except the butler dude ^^;
i agree with Tactics. I forgot about it. It's definatly a dark bishonen series. I love it.
Trinity Blood... I suppose. I didn't think of it as 'bishonen', because I only had eyes for the younger boys Ion and Alessandro, but I suppose the other guys are bishonen, if you like that sort of thing (or squint)
Monochrome Factor- While 'bishonen' (HARUKA!!), it's not dark. Even though it deals with evil shadow monsters, 5 or 6 eps in and it's still very silly ^^;;
Forgot about Saiyuki, because it doesn't give me the same feel that Weiss and Yami do. It's a hard to explain feeling. It's like 'Kyaaa! This is cool!'
If were talking about shonen anime with dark bishonen themes, he should include Zombie Loan, then. It most definatly has that feel I'm talking about ^^ And the boys are *very* bishonen.
Vampire Knight- It has a female main character. i was thinking more like, er, bishonen 'groups', like Weiss and Yami.

But, I was really asking about bishonen anime more geared toward girls, though. Alot of what he mentioned are shonen... That wasn't the question ^^;; Still, I appreciate the answer.

I will make note to watch the others he mentioned I haven't seen yet ^^

Speaking of Monochrome factor, I was disappointed with episode 7 or which ever it was that i just saw (the yuri episode ^^;;;). Haruka was hardly in it! I'm only watching this nonsense for him darnit! He was really cute fiddling with his earing, though X3
