So, yeah, this is my Anime Next con report (part 1 of 2, see end of entry). I had alot of fun. I always do at these things, though last year was better because it was all in one building. Please pardon me if I make little to no scence. I only got 4 hours sleep last night (I'll get to that in a minute tomrrow).



I'll put pictures up in a new post later in the week, once my film is developed.

Overall, Friday was dissapointing -_- . Jess, Sara, their mom (yeah...), and Michelle all got to my house not too late. I don't remember exactly when. Friday is a blur ^^;; We made it to the con in good time. Around 11:30. We took one reststop, but luckily Jess and I didn't have our costumes on yet. I just had on a black t-shirt and skirt, which I pulled my Shia coat over in the con parking lot.
When we got in, I decided to just wonder around finding out where everything was before 12:00, when Puchi Puri Yushi was supossed to be shown. As soon as I stepped into the Holiday Inn, where the videos where being shown, some one recognised us as Shia and Misha, squeeled, and took pictures ^_^ Only one other person took our pictures, though -_- I thought Pita-Ten was alot more popular than that... Anyway, Yushi was cancelled! My plans where thrown off!
To tell the truth, everything else is fuzzy. I know I went to the FMA panel, then stood in line for autographs. The line...it took...an hour. I almost passed out and I lost all feeling in all my limbs. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! I'm not even an FMA fan! I was so grumpy all night after that -_- But I must say, that after the panel, I found my self in love with Roy Mustang ^^;; I think Jess felt the same way. She bought a Roy pin ^^
Oh! Oh! I remember what I did before that now! The music videos. That was pretty fun. My favorite was the FLCL one set to 'Call Me Al'. I love that show, I love that song. It was great. You can download it here: http://www.tcnj.edu/~tomwol2/flcal.html Kate, you must see it.
Okay, so, after the ordeal with the signing, I went to the art show and bought a print of Dizzy from Guilty Gear. That used up all my singles, and I didn't want to buy something for $2 with a $20, so I decided to come back tomorrow. In the dealer room, I drooled over some pins and keychains, but couldn't choose. It did get some highly nifty Death Note stickers. $10 for 3 stickers. Madness, I tell you! But, it was Death Note. I could not leave happy with out a DN goody. There was a both selling DVDs INSANELY cheap. 3 for $25. Michelle bought Someday's Dreamers, which I will die if I don't borrow and watch. I saw the NieA_7 boxed set and asked how much. I had to ask the man to say it twice, because I haerd '$20'. Which could not be right. So, yeah, I got the Niea box, all four DVDs, for $20. They also had Haibane Renmei single DVDs, but I thought I'd sleep on it before spending another $25. I did buy it Saturday, of course ^^;; I also picked up some manga, Eng. and Jap. You can see them when I post pics.
We got home okay, then Jess decided she was too worn out to do tomorrow, plus there was a transportation issue (remember, she has no car now) so we said goodbye and I agreed to take nice pictures for her.
I will mention that I ate and slept very little that day.
I almost forgot, but I saw a girl cosplaying Ritsuka from Loveless!! She didn't do the hair, but she did have everything else, even the cheek bandage ^_^ I wanted to hug her, but I don't do hugs ^^;;; No other really special cosplayers, execpt for maybe a pretty good Dizzy.

I ment to write about Saturday tonight too, but I'll wait till tomorrow. Like I said, 4 hours sleep.
