I could not post here for five years, come back, and still have nothing important to tell you. Nothing will change.
I've been to some cons. Whatever. I don't know if I'll post pics or not.

I'm just coming on here because I want to talk about Psycho Pass. I don't think any of you watch it, though? What anime do you guys watch? That's a real question, not sarcasm lol

Speaking of anime, I've decided to give up on the real world and focus on nothing but anime. I only need 2D boys and fake adventures. It will be hard, though, since anime isn't cool anymore. Most 'anime' fans only like western crap now...

Oh, oh I made a Tumblr for white haired anime boys http://fyeahwhitehairbishonen.tumblr.com/ White haired boys tend to have delightful personalities <3

Psycho Pass spoilers

Well that last episode was very sad. I knew from the start that this was a dark show that takes no prisoners, so I thought I could be strong if I keep that in mind and wasn't surprised, but seeing a favorite character die always hurts, I guess, even if they were an insane serial killer who really deserved it haha It was actually better than it could have been though. I was really shocked that not more people died, tbh.
Given the parallels to 1984, the ending fit very well. I think most people who have read 1984 saw this coming. Even though it was a good, solid ending, I do wish that Maki and Kou could have teamed up to take down Sybil. It would be so awesome if there was an ova or manga that was set in an AU where that happened.
I also think it would have been a cool end if Maki and Kou had both killed eachother. I know I say I hate character deaths, but I was certain Kou was going to bite it! I was already prepared! lol

I'm not sure I ever mentioned it here, but I am deeply in love with Makishima |D He's like my new Kaworu or something. Just gah <3 Beautiful man. I'll miss him ): And hey, I finnally fell for a character who isn't a little teenager :Db

Edit: All the fans on Tumblr are pulling the 'but where's the body?' crap they did with K Project. Sometimes, they just don't think it's tasteful to animate the corpse of an important character lol Not showing the body is so rarely code for 'still alive' in an anime!

I heard of Psycho-Pass and the concept is interesting~

I'm currently watching Space Brothers, DokiDoki Precure, Vividred Operation (magical girls, but with SCIENCE!...also lots of buttshots) and Persona 4.

I love the Precure franchise, but each series is too long >< I have such a poor attention span orz

Yeah, any series that's over 26 episodes scare me. I did blast through Space Brothers with some breaks in between that lasted a few days. I faltered with the last few Precure series, and this time I will try to stick to Dokidoki.

I'll add that to my anime backlog. You do know your cute/pretty boys. :)

I don't know what the fuck is up with the move to western animation. I know Avatar and its sequel series was western but that was mild. Other then that I've been seeing people moving toward American comics super hero crap (the avengers cast heroes). Which I don't understand because most super heroes are complete dumb to me and make little to no sense and their pasts are so convoluted since they have been rebooted for years and shit. I do get Pixar and other Disney animated films, like Wreck It Ralph, How to Tain Your Dragon, Tangled, etc. Because they are good movies, but I really don't see it taking over anime fandom. They are just short movies after all. Boarders going under. And Best Buy's anime section being cut severely back didn't help a bit. The only place I know to see a decent anime section is FYI and Frys. :/ At least as far as big retailers go. It is nice to see that Hot Topic still features a lot of anime shirts and stuff, so I think people are going toward online streaming/ buying instead of disc form, which is fine I guess. Manga is taking a real beating though. Barnes and Noble's section isn't real diverse, mainly as far as yaoi is concerned. I hope manga starts going more E-book to save itself. yeah, idk. I still have a ton of anime fans on my f-list but I do see a lot more diversity as far as the animation they like now (as in more western animation mixed in there. but I also noticed that western animation is starting to take on a more "anime" style so it does make sense.

Psycho Pass is so good and Makishima is the cutest serial killer haha Definitely give it a try.

See, I got into anime because I found it, for the most part, more intelligently written and emotionally gripping than American animation. I don't understand why people would want to go backwards ): If more western stuff was like Avatar, I'd totally get it. It was very close in looks and feel to anime. Even Adventure Time has some very engrossing and intelligent episodes mixed in with the silly, so I get that too (I'm even a big fan) but some other things like Gravity Falls, I just can't see how they are special.

Haven't been watching Psycho Pass, just AMNESIA and Gintama for me this season. Haven't looked at the next season yet. So I'm not sure what I'm going to watch on that end. (Though I think UtaPri 2 is scheduled for spring? Maybe?)

I can totally get behind the white haired bishies though~!! Granted in anime it tends to lean White Hair Black Heart. But it seems like there's been an upswing of characters lately. (*cough* Or maybe it's just popular in otome for the rainbow hair factor and thus I notice more...)

Yeah Utapri 2 is this spring :) I'm going to watch that amd Karneval.

I like how white haired boys tend to be not quite good, but not quite evil either. It makes for interesting characters.
