Maria Holic, the new anime of Minari Endoh's other manga, was subbed and I just watched it. I mention this because I know several of my friends were anticipating this series.

Even though it was only the 1st ep, I felt it was far better and closer to the manga than Hatenkou Yuug animei. But it's a Shaft (Pani Poni, Zetsubou) anime, and they do tend to be awesome. The animation direction was very Shaft-ish with the randomness and chibis. Their animation quality is also very good as usual I am so glad they got this series. It could possibly be even better than the manga, but I've only read the 3 chapters that are scanlated, so maybe I can't judge.

I know several of you were interested in the Maria Holic anime when I posted about it. I'm totally watching this. Shaft is one of my favorite studios after watching Pani Poni and Zetsubou. Endoh+Shaft=Win. I'm sure of it.

Edit 2: god, i hate anime fans. Reading the ANN forum, not one person is excited because it's a Minari Endoh work! I swear, anime fans are no better than main-stream people. Most anime fans don't want to learn more about their hobby, which mystifies me. When i like something, I want to know as much as possible, I want to explore and discover. I can't imagine not wanting to learn of new series I've never heard of. I hate people.

Is it just me or is the 'Hari' name totally a rip-off of a certain Harry?

I've been pondering Dazzle. It took 5 books, but I've realized it's one of my favorite series. It has everything that made Furuba great: good wacky humor, lovable characters with angsty pasts, bishonen, and lot's of 'power of friendship' type stuff :3 Love it.
What I think will happen in vol 6: While Rahzel's tending to the wounded Alzeid, Rayborn will go deal with the assassins on his own and be killed T_T I just know it. Rayborn! T_T

I'm trying to get someone to do custom doujinshi shopping in Japan for me, but I get so scared dealing with people X_x I wish I wasn't like that >< I'll have to try extra hard to open up the email! Ganbaru!

Oh I forgot, I was at JC Penny today and they had a perfect lolita dress! I mean, it looked exact. Like a real brand. It was by American something...Tradition, maybe? But, it was really nice. It had the right neckline, the right amount of poof in the skirt, high quality; I felt like I was touching the real thing! It was $100, just like a brand dress too ^^;;;

Seriously, new fave pairing XD I wasn't feeling too spiffy today, but Rayborn totally managed to cheer me up for a while X3 I hope he doesn't get killed T_T (Dazzle is one of those series that loves to kill off new characters). Before, I was kind of liking Alzeid/Rahzel, but he's 10 years older than her, so it felt off (I don't like way older guy/younger girl pairs). Rayborn/Rahzel works much better ^^ Too bad he didn't make it into the anime :/

Why doesn't Odin Sphere is exist ANYWHERE? Except Wal-Mart, but I rarely buy games new cuz I'm cheap like that :/ Oh well, Wal Mart it is. (Oh you can see how the saving money's going for me, huh :P)

What is it with the sudden revival of Pokemon lately? Like a few years ago, it was totally dead. but now, it's almost like how it was even more years ago. There's always so many cosplayers and so many people list it as a fave series now O_o Not that I blame them; I'm playing Stadium 2 right now (and hating it. Thus, need a new game, which would be Odin Sphere). I wonder why it's popular again.

I saw that Mom had recorded some of panel. i looked at it today, and it was only the Magical Miracle part -_- that was the one did last so I was very tired and not making sense. Also, that was one of the ones Jess was supposed to talk about, so I had to guess/make up alot of stuff -_- Yay, Mom. Now I have nothing for You Tube -_-

I've currently lost my voice D: Jess showed up insanely late because she got sick, so I ran the whole panel myself!! I don't talk at all in school all day and I don't talk much at home, so talking for an hour+10 min. straight was murder! X_x Yet, I'd totally do it again ^_^ (I feel really sick right now, though ^^;;; Jess gets sick before events, I get sick after) Speaking of Jess, Jess I hope found you're way home and didn't have to sleep under the art table or something! D:
Okay. Gonna save this and finish tomorrow. (started this Sunday night)

...And by the the magic of saving stuff, it's now Monday. Ugh. I so skip school if I didn't have to turn in my Morality Play paper and do my philosophy presentation.

I was horrified when it became clear I'd be doing this thing by myself. So, that wasn't too cool. But! So many people showed up! The room was nearly 2/3 full! Hardly anyone left early! Even though I ran over my time slot, everyone still stayed! I-I was touched! T_T

BEST. MOMENT. EVER. was when Jack Skellington accompanied by another awesome full-body costumed thing, came into the room after I had started. a dead silence swept over the entire room as everyone, me included, turned to stare XD Jack was like 'Sorry! D:' so I was like 'No, it's okay. I don't mind Jack Skellington interrupting me!'. Er, you had to be there, but it was a beautiful moment.

I will be posting my Beyond The Beyond and Gertrude presentations on sono_mukou and gertrude_recipe, respectively so go look for those.

Art table:
Sales were slow in the morning, picked up after the panel in the afternoon. Sold not one set of hair clips T_T Only sold a bunch of headdresses, custom Japanese calligraphies, and a few stickers (people actually like my ugly doodle of L :/ ). Made 30 something dollars. Not bad, since I got in free :p

Other:
Karaoke was set up nice. I brought my own CDs, though ^^;;

The campus was alot more confusing than Suny Albany (for Bad Con) :/
