Over all, i like them all. Some were better than others. Naton is still my fave LietPol circle ♥ I'm gonna take a break from script writing so I can translate more of that other LietPol book I've been working on. I need to hurry up now that the books building up XD

i went to get a blood test today. So maybe I'll find out why I'm always tired. After that:
I went to Hot Topic today and...someone hugged me. I looked down (*giant*) and it was my friend Serena from Animation ^^; She gave me a heart attack! I'm really bad with people when I'm not expecting them so I was really nervous and had no clue what to say orz It was nice seeing her, though. Also there was the guy from Mythology that passed out that time. It was so weird lol I know so few people, so seeing two I know at once...it was something. I think I want to crawl into a hole now...

Ah. I got a headache from being on the computer all day >< I did not get much done on the Mythology paper because I hate doing the reasearch work and without knowledge, you can't write a paper! I'm the most horrible laziest person ever. I did get another of the short papers for Animation done, though. My mythology paper involves having books full of paintings of nekkid people laying open everywhere (the books, I mean) lol

Going through my summer clothes, most are pretty old. It's great that they still fit after years *toothpick*, but they look old :/

There's a doll meet in Kingston Sat. I'm gonna ask if Jess will take me... This is one of the rare things that makes me wish I could drive.

I have two papers due this week, and I guess two next week. So, of course, the brilliant thing to do is go play video games lol But, well, I played more P4 yesterday and I failed miserably, so I want to go try and beat that part now XD I love games that have lots of enemies hanging around so you can level up if things are too hard.

I keep saying it, but I really just can't wait to have time to translate more doujinshi. I'll have some new ones coming to me in a few weeks X3 An artist I like is doing a Greece/Japan book, so i'm finally going to buy one of that pairing ♥ I've wanted one for a while, but the art wasn't speaking to me in any I'd seen yet.

Mom got me a pattern for the apron for my Hungary dress today ♥ I'm dying to do this cosplay. I think the fake Prussia/Austria doujinshi I made turned out pretty neat (it just a fanart I found and added some text to lol) I'll post pics soon. Probably when I post pics of how I'm thinking of having my hair for the cosplay.

I can't wait to make my Hungary cosplay X3 After April 7th or 8th, I will be free for the summer! Free to sew and fangirl! I think this is one cosplay I can be in character for, because I will take pics of cute boys and squee over BL and hit people with a frying pan (which I still need to figure out how to make/find a really light one). I won't even have to straighten my hair like I usually do since I think her's is a bit wavy.

I went to my doujinshi shelf yesterday, because i wanted to look at my Uryuu/Orihime books (there's one on ebay that's a really good price, so I needed to remind myself that the ones I have are good too and maybe i don't need more because I'm saving for Hetalia stuff orz) and remembered that they weren't in order by series anymore because of scanning/taking pics to sell/being messy and I could not stand for that because I am a little bit of a neat freak (not hard core, but still fairly neat). So, I organized them even though I always have homework. Anyway, point 1: I found some more I want to sell off (finally giving up on my Mako Takahashi collection) point 2: I had no room for my regular sized Hetalia books D: (the tiny ones do have a home) I had to stuff them inbetween the large bookcase for novels and my stack of cardboard boxes (what are in those anyway?) orz So during break, i really do need to sell more stuff.

History of Animation is so incredibly awesome. I can't believe people dropped it. It's college credit for cartoon watching. I loveitloveitloveit ♥

So, I'm going with the Liberal Arts major with a focus in art, since I've already completed more courses toward it than I would have Viscom. To all my younger friends who aren't in college yet: Pick your major first semester. Even if you need to change it later, it will still give you some direction. Don't be me, trying to work backwards and stuck in a 2 year school for eternity orz

I think I'm so cranky lately because my squashed toe still hurts :/ But if you'll allow me to whine a little bit more...I still can't understand why no one at school wants to be friends with me (let alone go out with me. i feel like such a loser, I swear) There must be something really repellent about me. Besides that I'm a skinny, tall, stick-figure with a bad personality and ugly hair who dresses weird lol

Edit: I'm dying to do more doujinshi translation. I've done a bit on one of my LietPol books, but I can only snatch a little bit of time away from homework... guh I wanna work on this translation so bad. But when I do it when I'm tired, I get lazy with it, so it's probably best to wait for free time. Maybe over Easter weekend we won't get homework. Oh, you know, we don't get a break for Easter? I hate that.

Edit2: I was disappointed that Children's Lit. was only held at 8am, so I couldn't take it T_T I've been dying to take it for so long, since I've read most of the required books. But if I try to get up at 6, I become even more of a depressed nut-job than usual. It just does not work. But argh I wanted to take it. That and I need 2 more Eng. courses to graduate anyway.

Everyone's so excited about the new FMA. Am I the only one's who not? ^^;;;; Like I've said, before Hetalia, I never liked anything popular. FMA is good, but I'm not a big fangirl for it. I'm not sure if I'll watch anything this season, really. I wanna try Pandora Hearts, but that's about it.

That will be remedied next month at SuperComi ^^ *been planning a list* (and if anyone wants links to good LietPol fanart sites, I'm your fangirl) Anyway, my new BelaRussia book is cuuuuuuuuuuute ♥ It's from this circle: http://fufu.tubakurame.com/ A Liet/Russia book by them was posted on the comm a little bit back. They seem to like pairing Russia with everyone lol I also got a SuFin by Love Birthday since I liked their stuff from what I had downloaded. It was really sweet too. But, I think BelaRussia is my 2nd fav pairing to buy doujinshi from, even if they are my 4th fav pairing (if that makes sense).

Totally random thought: If APH was ever dubbed in English Greg Ayres MUST play Russia. No exceptions.

I talked to another adviser and I need to choose between VisCom and Liberal Arts with all my electives being art. Leaning toward the VisCom just cuz I'd need less math and US History and Eng., etc.

Today was my 1st History of Animation class. Just as I expected, I love it. Mainly because my fave prof teaches it. Anyway, for the final in 4 weeks, we get to present our favorite animation so I'm picking...Hetalia duh. We have to play a 4 min clip, which would be an ep of APH without the end theme. So, for my Hetalia friends: which episode that's been subbed so far should I pick to show people what a great show it is? I think the 1st ep jumps around too much :/ I realise that that will be 4 more eps out before I do this presentation, but I'm curious what you think so far ^^ I get to write a paper about APH XD How fun will that be, huh?

Little Nook has two new Liet/Pol books up for sale, but I'm poor now orz Should've waited before making my last order... Maybe someone will buy and scan them? ^^;; I need to save money for when Alicia goes to Super Comic City anyway.

I started to scan in on of my LietPol books, but I was reading it as I was scanning and it's pretty easy to read (I mean, I need to look up kanji still, but they're easy ones in a big font), so I'm gonna scanlate it as long as I don't run into a tough part. I've already got two pages figured out ^_^

I remembered that Maria Holic should've been subbed by now and guessed that it's one of those series not listed on Anime Suki for whatever reason, so I got it some place else and watched ep 2. Kyaa~! I love it! XD Minari Endoh's story and characters teamed with Shaft's humor and animation is such a perfect match! I know I said I loved this anime way back when I saw the 1st ep, but this ep was even better. It reminded me so much of Pani Poni, which is one of my fave anime. I love random comedy so much ♥ I wish so bad that Shaft had done Hantenkou Yuugi too...

One of the hard (but most fun ^_^) parts of translating is picking the right English words. It's hard to sound natural, but not lose the right meaning....

Shoooooooooooooooooooooooot. I can't find the top for my Kazuki cosplay I was gonna wear to Non Con tomorrow. I though I had it, but I was confusing it with my Virid and Tokiko stuff *has too many white costumes* I don't know wear else to look, so I guess I'll freeze and be Risa or Marlene :/ I wanted to wear something with pants though T_T I suck. In my defense, though, I haven't had an urge to wear this costume in two years. It's had plenty of time to migrate to a place it doesn't belong.

My Yuki/Tohru book came today. It had two H-game posters as omake XD Just because I buy doujinshi doesn't mean I play H-games! lol

I picked up my Hetalia doujinshi today *_*

I have to say, the two LietPol books I got are so spot on to how I imagine their relationship to be! Even though both books are wimpy little copy-bon, they're pretty much the best things in the package XD The amount of cuteness is just killer. Seriously. I think they might be my #1 Hetalia pairing now. The one by Naton is especially perfect (I was grinning so much ^_^). I'll definitely be wanting more from that circle. I'll also be asking for more LietPol stuff in general next time thelittlenook goes to a con ^_^

The Sealand&Latvia book was like, what, 6 pages? orz I like the art though. It also came with some precious little badges of Russia, Bela, Ukraine, Liet, Latvia and Estonia. It was a surprise XD They're way too cute (and rare, I imagine) to actually pin to anything that I would bring outside the house, though ^^;

And because I'm a sucker for cutesy art, Samson's SuFin books are super cute! I want their newest one. I only requested the two older ones, since the new one wasn't on their site yet.

And lastly, the Belarus/Russia book was sweet :3 I had my doubts after asking for it, but i'm glad I got it. I think those two are cute together (not necessarily in a romantic way, but I like their interaction).

I'll stop saying 'cute' now.

I started out only buying Harry Potter doujinshi years ago but also added Darren Shan and Howl's Moving Castle (the novel-verse) soon after. I was fascinated with the Japanese take on UK novels (I'm very curious what western novels the Japanese are into right now, since those fandoms are dying over there...). However, I eventually started buying interesting looking doujinshi from many different anime I was into as well. That was back when I wasn't into just one main series or the main series I loved (Beyond the Beyond, Dazzle, Zombie Loan) didn't have doujinshi. Now that I'm seriously into Hetalia and there are lots of good doujinshi for it, I'll be focusing on those for a while, I'm sure. Though, I'm still looking for books from my rare main OTPs: Yuki/Tohru (Furuba) (I have 3 so far! Go me!), Ion/Esther (Trinity Blood) (does this even exist?), and Dominic/Anemone (Eureka 7). The reason I love doujinshi is because I love seeing characters in different art styles, doing different things. It also gives me a way to see my non-canon pairings be together. I'm also fascinated by the whole self publishing thing and the limited print runs. My favorite doujinshi artists/circles of all time: Rito Kohsaka (RROC) and Yuki (Yukinco). I like Mako Takahashi (Pika Pika)'s art, but her humor is gross sometimes so I'm on the fence about her stuff ^^;; I also want to own more of Yukiru Sugisaki's Eva books :3

Oh goodness XD I got into it in December a few days before Christmas. I had been hearing about it for a while and it really sounded like something I'd like (for the historical-ness and random humor. The BL was just a pleasant surprise ^_^). So when I remembered it existed again, I finally read it. It was love after just a few panels. I usually hate reading manga online, but Hetalia is just so darn good, I was hooked. I have never liked a series this popular since I was into Digimon as a kid. The fandom definetly helps fuel my love of Hetalia. The only other times I've liked popular series it was years before they hit it big and i was tired of them by then (Fruits Basket, Bleach, and Death Note). But now seems like a good time to be into Hetalia.
I've said it before, but Hetalia is changing my life in a positive way. I used to be one of those jerks who thought America was like the king of countries (I've never been too found of my country, actually, but I always thought it was the most important one regardless). I can now see all countries as equals more or less and that real people live in them. I honestly love the world now. I also see that in wars, the countries aren't evil, but the decision makers in charge. I'm also started to be interested in world history, since I know nothing of it (I thought I did from watching History Chanel, but I guess I don't since most of the events in Hetalia are unfamiliar to me). I want to take history classes next semester. On a lesser note, Hetalia is also making me try me hand at fanart again, which was something I had given up.
I also want to add that I love the characters so much, that even if they weren't countries, i'd still love them. They're just great characters with great interaction. ^_^

My dad loves fish and does some tank maintenance as a side job. So, we've always had fish in the house. Some how, the tank wound up in my room years back, so I take care of them because I love all animals (not fish in particular or anything). My dad buys me new ones whenever some die off and who am I to refuse free pets XD

We had the first meeting of our anime club (it's for us and our friends) yesterday. Not sure it went so well. :/ All i do know is that blueberry pocky was surprisingly awesome (must get some at AN), especially since I thought I'd hate it since I hate mango pocky. Today will be spent:
1. Fighting a boss in P3 (top priority!)
2. Doujinshi drawing (not not a real doujinshi unless you lose sleep over getting it don in time)
3. Working on panel power point for CPAC

A funny thing happened. I drew the first page of my doujinshi and...I didn't want to find the highest bridge possible from which to jump, like usual D: I am now 4 pages in and still don't need to jump off anything. So, either my art is slightly better or something just broke in my brain and I can't see how bad it is anymore ^^

Hmph. I always manage to like obscure things. T_T This is why I need to work hard now, so I can be a doujin-ka with reasonably OK art when I get to Japan. Nearly done reading The Astonishing Adventures of Fan Boy and Goth Girl (last library book I will allow myself for, like, ever because it's just lame when someone picks a book off my shelf, says 'how was this?' and I'm all like 'dunno. never read it'. That needs to stop NOW). I recommend it to all geeks. The main guy (...does he even have a name...? I think he's like a video game hero, like in P3, where he has no default name XD Weird.) checking the site for his comic book con everyday to make sure his fave artist is still coming a great. It reminds me so much of me checking to make sure Greg Ayres is still coming to Anime Next XD Once he gets to the con, it's done very believably too.
On the copyright page, under the genre listing for libraries it said 'Geeks (computer enthusiasts)' I lol-ed.

I have such a hard time finding Japanese sites on my own T_T I swear, i was better at it back when i couldn't read Japanese. I had so many Japanese Digimon and Okage sites bookmarked when I was younger ^^ (speaking of Japanese sites, I still miss Fox Hunt/Tally-ho...
