Crestomanci doujinshi! *_* The circle also has novel!HMC dj too! Waaah! Someone, take me to Japanese so I can get these! Nihon e ikitai~! Doujinshi hoshii~!

Guess what I just bought at Shop Rite! Cherry 7up!! I thought it was dicontinued! I haven't had that for years (5 years now?)! If only I could find some Blue Pepsi now... I think Jess and I were the only people in the country who liked that stuff ^^; I overheard a boy say that it tasted like melted gummi bears! (to me, that actually sound good!)

Edit:
I found a scanlation site doing Moyamu Fujimo's (First King) Hakobune Hakusho! XD If I can't read First King, at least I can read this.

I hate not having other book fans in my life to let me know of things of interest...

Then again, I suppose that's what lj comms are for. Still, call me old fashioned, but I prefer having reallife friends tell me of things.

I'll find a DWJ comm. tomorrow. I'll join the KttK one too (self reminders)

Jones-sensei is getting so old, I'm afraid she might die soon, so anything she writes is very precious.

The world should make a big deal out of some books that aren't Harry Potter. I know I would preorder any DWJ book and line up to buy on opening day. Same with KttK. I should not have to find out about these thing weeks or months after they come out.

Actually, I think I was confused at the start of my entry. What I think I was really wishing was for these books to be ubiquitous on the internet. I don't want to go looking for DWJ info. I want to trip over it every time I log on the net, like i do with anime news.
I mean, it would be lovely to have friends that read the books I do, but friends are never my main sorce of info for anything :p
Just, it seems that anime info and news is alot easier to find than for books. That's why I can't be as big a book otaku as I'd like. Lack of fanbase. It's hard to get deeply into anything that lacks fanbase. I mean, just look at Recipe for Gertrude and Beyond the Beyond. These manga have 0 fanbase, so there is no news, no fanart, no fiction, nothing.

Big day of internet shopping! I ordered Sims 2 (Holiday edition) from Ebay and Eight Days of Luke by DW Jones. I was annoyed to find 8Days is OOP so I was forced to order it used from Amazon. I've already read it once from the library, but all of DWJ's books are worth owning (and reading over and over and over until the pages fall out ^^).
I'm already looking for Sims downloads. I want an Eva family (even though I'm not really a fan of the show, I just want Kaworu and shinji :3) and a Furuba family.

I wanted to write more, but I'm not feeling well today, so I forget already...lalala...

So. Yesterday night my family went out for dinner, then they took me to HKT (anime store) (afterwords they dragged me into K-Mart, so we're even).
I really wasn't going to buy anything but...they had the .hack//LIMINALITY soundtrack. I remembered the music in LIMINALITY to be nearly as good as in SIGN, so I picked it up.
Meh. Not as good as the SIGN OST at all. Not enough vocal tracks. I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but I suspect Edge may not be on there. I mostly wanted it for that song.

They also had some of their bootleg/fansub videos pn clearence. 3 for $10. I wasn't going to get any really, but they had Orphen. Tapes 2&3, right were I left off (rented the 1st DVD last summer). I got those and the first Card Captor Sakura. I figure for $10 I'll just enjoy them for now, then buy the boxed sets when I save up. First I'm getting the Yami box, so these Orphen tapes will hold me off until I get the box, because it'll be a while.
I swear Majik from Orphen IS Omi from Weiss Kreuz. Blonde girly, wimpy boy (his voice could not get any girlier). He's the cutest thing. Ha ha.
I wonder how the Orphen PS2 game is, if you've seen the anime. I know people who've only played the game didn't like it...

I forgot that I had a coupon for 30% off at WaldenBooks that I was going to use Monday and spent all my money T_T I was going to get xxxhoilc 5. holic is SO good. It's got everything that makes Clamp manga so great, art, story, characters, humor...

I wonder how I can find a list of theaters playing Howl's Moving Castle. I don't know exactly what to type in Google.

Speaking of Diana Wynne Jones realated things...
I'm reading Conrad's Fate right now. It's very good, as expected. The thing is, it really makes me want to go back and read Charmed Life and The Lives of Christopher Chant. Especially Chris Chant, because he plays such a large role in Conrad. I forget what he was like in his book. I need to get a feel for his character again, because I think he seems really different in Conrad. And! And this book says he has black hair! I swear he's blonde on the cover of Chris Chant! It's a crime, I tell you! How could they draw him wrong!? Doesn't anyone check these things?
I also need to re-read Charmed Life because I forget why Cat and Chris both have the same last name T_T How could I forget nearly every detail of my favorite books? T_T (I really admire those people who can remember every bit of Harry Potter. I have no memory for books)

And ofcourse now I want to re-read Howl because of the movie. I'll never have time T_T
