This Off Beat AMV (MMV?) is really cute ^^ I guess AMVs can be done using manga.
It reminded me how I really want to work on my own videos. I just need to find a (free) program.
I want to do Yami no Matsuei set to I'll Follow You into the Dark by Death Cab. It's just too perfect. It's a shame the catholic school ('St. Micheal's') arc wasn't animated (disturbing as it was), so I could use for the 'catholic school' line in the song, but I'd just use Hijiri's school from the Devil's Trill arc instead ^^ Seriously, almost every line in that song could be matched up with something in Yami.
But back to manga AMVs, Mars set to Going the Distance (that's the song's name, right, Jess?) would also be awesome (mostly Jess's idea ^^).

Speaking of fan things! I actually got a fan fiction idea! I'm going to write a .hack story from Elk's POV. I'm so much like him, it should be no problem ^^ I'll start it now, but I won't post it many places until I finish the last game, to be sure of all the details (I'm just before the final boss, but I can't find the virus cores I need >< So I'm playing Tales of Symphonia right now ^^)

Jess took me to see a play last Sunday ♥ I was only able to see the 2nd half, though, because I wasn't feeling well -_- Anyway, it was pretty funny. It was about a theater troup, which totally reminded me of the last play I was in, Company of Wayward Saints (CoWS! ):8 ). The best character was the bassethound, Timmy :3 I got to pet him after the show was over :333 I also met Ryan, the guy who will play Prince Gray/Gurei (interchangable spelling :p) in our Escaped-The movie. He was really cool. I won't mind dancing with him in ballroom scene too much (Sora is horrified of dancing with anyone, but will put up with it this once). He's just perfect for the prince! He was really good in that play, btw.
I'm getting really excited about this project ^^
The prince is actually my favorite character, but if you write, you know characters sometimes choose their own paths, and Kurai chose Kumo.
I'd like to make an Escaped RPG/dating sim where you can choose between Gray, Kumo, or Kei for Kurai. But before Jess freaks out, if Kei wins, he only becomes friends with Kurai (maybe this is the heart break option? ^^;)
I already downloaded a trial of RPG Maker XP, but it's going funky on me :/

I've realized the key to drawing well. If you can't draw, don't. Forget about for a few years, then come back and you'll be better ^^
I quit drawing two years ago and just started again because of the doujinshi project. I'm amazed at who much better I've gotten, just by not drawing anything O_o
I think if I had kept going with old, ugly style, it would've stayed the same, but my brain develouped a new style while it rested, I guess ^^;
Not to say I draw good now, ofcourse. But I do draw better than before. (ANYTHING would be better than before)


In between drawing for the doujinshi, I want to draw the characters for Escaped. I'm starting with Prince Gray (minor character, but totally my favorite ^^). I want to make him Yuki-like, but with Kaworu-ish hair...

Every time I make an entry now, I forget what to say...

Oh yeah, I was disscussing my original story Escaped with blue_rose_sama today. She helped me along alot (she's good like that ^^)! I will now be able to finish the story! There will even be extra side stories at the end (Escaped Gaiden ^^)! I make no promises about how long this will take, but things are looking good and the story WILL finish. Hopefully, much work will get done next month in honor of National Novel Writing Month ^_^
