I never meant to, but I like Yosuke quite a bit now. At first I thought he was annoying and stupid, but now I think he's really adorable. Not sure how it happened. Also, against my better judgment, I find my self liking Souji/Yosuke orz (blame the 8th and 9th rank-ups). Believe it or not, I try to fight my urge to like BL alot XD It doesn't work out, though... ^^;
I still think P3 was the better game however.

I have a sore throat today D: I don't feel sick in any other way yet, so maybe it was just the super salty sauce I had with my soba at lunch. Or the weather. I'll still go to AN even if I am sick, so don't worry. I would need to be on my death bed to not go. ...I do feel a little light-headed, though D: But that's not uncommon for me, so idk. I'm really praying I'm not sick. Probably caught something over Michelle's -_- That's why I'm glad I don't spend much time around people. The only times I get sick is when I do :/

I think all i have left to do for AN is print the business cards and stickers. Then pack up the pile of stuff in my room into separate bags for either day. Then make bread on Thursday and I'm set. Oh and ofcourse finish that apron XD

I think yesterday was one of the few times i didn't watch an APH ep the day it came out (other times were due to school). I really just don't care about US and Uk lol Then I remembered that Liet would be in it and watched it XD

So. My first full day of break didn't turn out as epic as I'd hoped since Mom made me clean house, then I fell asleep watching History. But I did manage to play Persona 4 and do some more translation. This current translation is giving trouble. I understand all the words separately, but the sentence, not so much :/ Some times I think I'm too stupid to translate my doujin and I should just give it up... Maybe I'll ask you people for help, since I think I added some knowers-of-Japanese recently.
Anyway, about P4: So I'm just past the Yukiko boss fight. So far, the characters and story do not grab me like P3 did. In P3, I was pretty much in love with everyone except for Junpei and Yukari. I just don't have warm-fuzzy feelings for any of the characters yet. And the story is so cliche. I'm sure I've seen the whole characters vs. their 'inner self' thing a hundred times before. I wonder if it's a Japanese thing, since they hide their emotions so much, having an 'inner self' that's negative becomes an issue. I can't speak for all Americans, but I know that with me, what you see is what you get (at least 95%).
However, it is still a very fun game, just not near being a fave.

Tomorrow, Jess and Michelle are coming over \^0^/ We're gonna help Michelle with her Japanese project (she's making an Anpanman story book XD) and Jess and I are gonna sew Rosamund's Taiwan cosplay and squee over dolls online. Whoo!

Wanna know how pathetic I am? I hurt my leg taking pictures of Rosa-tan yesterday orz Just from standing weird on the side of the incline and crouching down too much. Also, got a sunburn on top of my head.

I have two papers due this week, and I guess two next week. So, of course, the brilliant thing to do is go play video games lol But, well, I played more P4 yesterday and I failed miserably, so I want to go try and beat that part now XD I love games that have lots of enemies hanging around so you can level up if things are too hard.

I keep saying it, but I really just can't wait to have time to translate more doujinshi. I'll have some new ones coming to me in a few weeks X3 An artist I like is doing a Greece/Japan book, so i'm finally going to buy one of that pairing ♥ I've wanted one for a while, but the art wasn't speaking to me in any I'd seen yet.

Mom got me a pattern for the apron for my Hungary dress today ♥ I'm dying to do this cosplay. I think the fake Prussia/Austria doujinshi I made turned out pretty neat (it just a fanart I found and added some text to lol) I'll post pics soon. Probably when I post pics of how I'm thinking of having my hair for the cosplay.

First day of school was good. It was Intro to Art and Professor Slater-Tanner is still the best. The projects will be graded on effort and not skill. Quite a relief. Getting up early is so hard :/ I felt kind of sick today. It was probably more because I couldn't sleep last night because loud cars kept going by. What's the point of living in 'Cow Country' if there's traffic!?

Finished Brave Story movie a few minites ago. MITSURU!!! ♥ I thought he had died T_T I was getting all sad, but he was waiting for Wataru back home ♥ WHY DID THEY CUT IT OFF BEFORE THE HUG!? Gyah. Totally a CCS movie moment there XP (or, maybe they were only going to hug in my fangirl mind? lol)
Oh, I totally want the doujinshi KL and Maiki did of it now (I love their art). But there's the whole 'no money at all' thing :/
I didn't get some things, though. How did Mitsuru know of The Gate in the first place? How did he have his powers before going through? How did Mitsuru get his wish anyway? Was it granted because Wataru did The Right Thing (TM)? I really need the novel now.
It was a very nice, cute, happy, sweet, good movie ^^ It was very Ghibli in feel. *thumbs up*

After playing the game since Christmas, for a total of over 90 hours; delaying the inevitable because I never wanted it to end, today I finished Persona 3.

I feel bad lowering Okage's rank on my faves list, by it's time to move ahead. Persona 3 is now my favorite video game.
Everything was perfect, the difficulity level, the music, the art, the voice acting, and above all else, the characters. The characters were so lovable and wonderful. I cared for them all so much. I'm all about characters in games. That's why I like Okage, Disgaea, and .hack. Really memorable, lovable characters.

The ending. This will be spoilers, but I'm not cutting, so be warned. I don't think Arisato died, like some do. Aigis wouldn't've been so happy, if he had, right? Besides, how could she protect a dead man? The end made me like Arisato/Aigis. It's canon. You don't rest your head on someone's lap and not be canon. Besides, Ryoji was their son, implanted into Arisato's head by Aigis, then born from his mind. That's why don't get Ryoji/Arisato. I mean, it's cute and they look great together, but Ryoji was born from Arisato! Weird~!
I felt like crying when the credits rolled. I usually hate re-set endings, but this one was really emotional and well done. I wanted cry too, just because it was over.
I was sad Ryoji didn't come back. It would've made the end perfect if he had T_T SAD!! He wasn't my favorite character, though. Akihiko is. So I can live Ryoji-less, I guess.
I was very dissapointed with the ease of defeating Nyx! You know, I hate a challege. I love easy, but this final boss fight was a joke! For all Ryoji's 'Nyx is unstoppable blahblah', Nyx was like fighting a card board cut out XP I expected a little more!
I guess I'll have to get FES now. I heard in addition to being a remake, it also includes a short sequeal? I need to look it up. And then wait for P4 in December. I think I'm more excited about P3 then I have been about any other game! It'll be great.

I'm dying to read the short-story P3 manga I bought at CTcon, but there're no furigana T_T The stories look so good, though! Like added scenes that weren't in the game. Like how Mitsuru recruited Akihiko (Aki was so cute when he young! ♥) and it looks like Ryoji comes back? :D Really good stuff. Gah. Can't wait till I get a kanji dictionary!

Edit: TOTALLY UNRELATED BUT randomly read some Geass spolier on my f-list, since I dropped the series anyway...I AM SO GLAD I QUIT AND SAVED MYSELF PAIN. I HATE THAT KIND OF SERIES.

I-I have no idea what to make for Manga Next to justify the cost of a table T_T i'm making mini straw hats and sheep clips, but I dunno what else to do! i feel like a fool trying to make doujinshi and none of my real life friends care about it to help me. I want to make stickers with funny sayings on Jess's sticker maker. But what else? I obviously can't sell my art... Why does every single thing in life have to be depressing? No, no, it all goes back to just not being able to draw. i swear, if I could draw, such a weight would be lifted from my shoulders.

I made a doujinshi order today. I know I'll be really happy when they come, at least. P3 Arisato/Yuuko ♥ If only they had Akihiko/Mitsuru too... What I really want is a pre-game Shinji/Aki/Mitsu kinda thing. Yeah... If only I could make my own doujnshi

Reading the Sekirei thread on AoD. It sound exactly like Juvenile orion, but with girls -_- I hate when manga-ka recycle their own old ideas. Couldn't Gokurakuin come up with anything new? Well, maybe her editors told her 'Write Juvenile orion, but for guys this time.' It's been known to happen.
I love her art; i wish she had more series I could stand to read besides JO and Category Freaks :/ (even Freaks pushes what I can tolerate ^^;;)

It's kind of silly to get a rat from the pound, though because you have to do all sorts of paper work, when I could just walk into Petco and get one no-questions-asked :/ But, he's home here and cuuuuuuuuuuuuute ^_^

Read Two Flowers for the Dragon. I was disappointed. I don't really like it. Love triangles stress me out (I like manga that are relaxing to read ^^;). It doesn't have anything Gertrude had, but the cute art. And Kuwan is cool with his eye-patch :) But that's about it....
I like Kuwan/Shakuya, btw

Palette of 12 Secret Colors, on the other hand, is nearly as good as Gertrude so far. It's cute and fun and I like the characters. I like the doctor/Cello ^^ I think romance is one of the things Kusakawa does best. Shame she didn't carry that over to Flowers too :/

Cosplaying Zombie Loan ofcourse made me think about it again. I wish there was someone to pair Yuuta with ): I love him alot, so I want him to be happy, ya know? But I guess he's happy enough just browsing weird websites all day :p
My favorite pairing is Shito/Michiru, but ZL is odd for a normal series in that it's easier to get BL and GL pairings out of than het. I mean, Chika/Shito and Yomi/Michiru are so much more obvious than any het pairing (I don't like them, though). Then there's also Shiba/Chika (which I do like :3) and Toho/Shito (which I don't like because it's not 'love', but rather 'I love cutting you up ♥' :p), which are really obvious too. Oh, I just have to be weird and pick a het pairing in such a series lol

Seeing Persona cosplayers made me get back into the game again. Only 11 (in game) days until the final boss!

I got the 4th Generator Gawl DVD used from FYE today! $5.99 whoo! It says it's the last one (Surprising! I thought it was like 7 DVDs), so now all I need is 3 and I have the whole thing. Should I just watch 4 or be patient until I get 3? Hmm. I'm actually really good at waiting about things like that. ^^

I dunno why everyone's complaining about how similar it is to P3. Not every single %^%#&$@# game franchise needs to have every game unrecognizably different, like Final Fantasy. I *like* a series where I know I'm getting more of the same. I think people forget that Persona is a part of the Shin Megami Tensei series, which has each sub-series be different, like FF (or so it seems. I've only played P3 and Nocturne).
Though...maybe the character roles are too similar to P3... The 3 main people seem alot like Arisato, Yukari, and Junpei.
Looks like the characters help eachother up after a fall down :D Cute! Way better than just Re-Patra-ing them.
