I never meant to, but I like Yosuke quite a bit now. At first I thought he was annoying and stupid, but now I think he's really adorable. Not sure how it happened. Also, against my better judgment, I find my self liking Souji/Yosuke orz (blame the 8th and 9th rank-ups). Believe it or not, I try to fight my urge to like BL alot XD It doesn't work out, though... ^^;
I still think P3 was the better game however.

I have a sore throat today D: I don't feel sick in any other way yet, so maybe it was just the super salty sauce I had with my soba at lunch. Or the weather. I'll still go to AN even if I am sick, so don't worry. I would need to be on my death bed to not go. ...I do feel a little light-headed, though D: But that's not uncommon for me, so idk. I'm really praying I'm not sick. Probably caught something over Michelle's -_- That's why I'm glad I don't spend much time around people. The only times I get sick is when I do :/

I think all i have left to do for AN is print the business cards and stickers. Then pack up the pile of stuff in my room into separate bags for either day. Then make bread on Thursday and I'm set. Oh and ofcourse finish that apron XD

The Cube controller makes my hands very sore when I'm not used to it (I think my hands have grown in the shape of a PS controller lol). My Arisato doll is done. Well, his clothes are done, but he's bald ^^;;; Miku doll just needs one more boot and the green trim on everything. I'll admit, the dolls are cute, but the quality is bad, since I'm bad at everything. That's why I won't charge too much. Still wanna make a Kaito doll. I'm pondering Ryoji to go with Arisato, but maybe I should go for a variety of series, instead? But I'm not sure I like anything else popular ^^;;; (I want to make dolls I wouldn't mind keeping if they don't sell)

We had the 2nd meeting of our anime club today (calling it a club is to encourage people to come each time, but it's just our friends hanging out, really ^^). Only Jess and her friend Chris came. It was nice, though, since I don't like alot of people around anyway. I keep telling Jess, though, that, if you try to rely on a group of people to make something happen, it will never work out. Only trust yourself ^^
i got to play Rock Band for the first time. Um...I didn't like it that much ^^;; I'm too girly for it, I manged to break a nail playing the guitar ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Singing on it is fun, but they need to let you key in whether you're male or female. i was singing Little Sister, but I couldn't go as low as it wanted >< Dude! I'm a girl!

Next weekend, Jess and I (+some other people I don't really know?) go to Spalsh Down XD I haven't been in years! And I've never been to a water park with friends before! Doing things with friends is still so novel to me ^^ I'm so excited.

Watching Bottle Fairy from the library. It's like Princess Princess in that it's a relaxing show (about totally different things, though XD). I can watch it not worry about who will wind up with who or fight scenes or anything. Plus, I love random humor ^^;
Sarara's my favorite. Little samurai fairy X3 I was shocked she's voiced by Yui Horie, because Yui annoys the heck out of me, in both Furuba and Loki XP She's so good as Sarara, though!

Starting to replay my old games from before my memory card crash a few years back. Started with Dark Cloud, got annoyed at the first boss *hates challenges*
Now I'm starting on Ico. I forgot how beautiful that game is! It really is such a work of art. And when you hold Yorda's hand you can feel the weight of her pulling on the controller!! XDD So cool!! No wonder this is one of my fave games! And the lack of background music is amazing. In any other game, thungs would seem too quiet, but it really fits here and adds to the beauty.
When I put it in, though, I had 2 disc read errors, then when it worked, it sounded like the PS2 was gonna 'splode >< PS-tan is getting old T_T

I didn't understand how glitches are created, so I thought it was very spooky that something the developers didn't intend to be in the game found it's way in there. I think I honestly thought it was like a .hack sort of thing where the game takes off on it's own and creates new features! lol. So, I was fascinated to learn how the glitch came about. BTW, I was quite found of my Missingno and had him as a big part of my team ^^

What is it with authors in BL anime? I mean, it's such a common theme for someone to be an author in a BL. Gravitation, Junjou, and I tried Kirepapa out of curiousity (it was so insanely cheesy, I thought the whole show was a joke at first, btw)...another author! lol. You know how there's The Laws of Anime http://www.abcb.com/laws/ ? Someone needs to make a laws of BL (unless there already is one). Rule 1: Someone's an author.
Speaking of Laws of Anime, that list is very funny if you're a fan from the 90s (or just like alot of 90s anime), but someone really needs to make a more modern list. I mean, if an anime laws list doesn't state 'Every anime must have at least one hotsprings trip', it's just not a through list.

I dunno why everyone's complaining about how similar it is to P3. Not every single %^%#&$@# game franchise needs to have every game unrecognizably different, like Final Fantasy. I *like* a series where I know I'm getting more of the same. I think people forget that Persona is a part of the Shin Megami Tensei series, which has each sub-series be different, like FF (or so it seems. I've only played P3 and Nocturne).
Though...maybe the character roles are too similar to P3... The 3 main people seem alot like Arisato, Yukari, and Junpei.
Looks like the characters help eachother up after a fall down :D Cute! Way better than just Re-Patra-ing them.

I've gotten back into the Digimon doujinshi project! (I almost quit ><) The good weather has reenergized me. In fact, it's been a little too hot for me (I'm very sensitive), but I haven't felt as groggy as most days. It's good drawing weather, even if i prefer cloudy days (because of my sensitive eyes).
I had only been drawing large full page pictures before as practice, but now that I'm actually working on a comic, it's tiny, so I think it hides the some of the flaws.
Fun fact: I like drawing the digimon better than the people :p

This is for my self to keep things straight, a list of what I will be working on:
All chara book: Two 4-panels and a splash, to go next to them. This will probably be 2 pages in all.
Jou/Mimi book: Two 4-panels (on one page). I just got an idea for a 5 page story, but I was thinking of asking if anyone else wanted it. But I'm really only doing 3 pages besides that, so maybe I'll keep it? I mean, that's only 8 pages all together.

I bought a computer game call Plantasia today. It was on clearance for $5. It's a kids' game, but since I'm a 10 year old at heart, I like it ^^
It feels sort of Japanese, really. Between the art style (slightly anime, without screaming 'Hi. I am a fake American anime!') and the style game play. It's a gardening game! Hee hee.

It's funny how putting a video game down for months can help help you get past a tough spot. I was just recently able to get back into Tales of Symphonia and just last night, La Pucelle. I'm very happy to be playing La Pucelle again. I do love my Nippon Ichi games ♥ I need to try Phantom Brave again now.

I don't see what people see in ToS. Neither the battles nor the story is very interesting...

I wish the 'put it down then come back' strategy would work for Star Ocean 3 too -_- That's one of those games I want to pay someone to play for me and I'll just watch. In fact, all Squenix games are like that (KINGDOM HEARTS! UGH!). My whole life I wanted a big brother to play video games with ^^; (that and an old friend of mine had a super nice big brother that made me want one ^^;).

I think my next video games purchase will be Devil May Cry 3. I've had an urge to shoot some demons lately ♥

My hand hurts like crazy o_o I've been playing waaaaaaaaay too much .hack. The thing is, PS2 controller has always been super comfy to hold for me, but with .hack, I need to keep adjusting the camera angle or it focuses on the wall or something o_O I hope that's changed in G.U. But anyway, keep your fingers on the L+R buttons=pain -_-
Playing .hack 4 without the previous save game data isn't as bad as I thought. They still let you go back and get the optional characters, so yay! I still get to use Ryoko-chan ^^ I think she's my fave after Elk (poor Elk...I feel bad for him in this volume...). Oh, gosh, I love .hack. I could spill gooey fangirlyness all over your Friends page, but I'll spare you the mess.

I just wanted to complain about my hand, really. Yeah.

And, oh yeah, if the library doesn't get more Darren Shan soon, I will be carrying a pitch-fork and torch next time I go in.

Speaking of .hack, the 4th game came in the mail yesterday! XD I started watching the included DVD. .hack//GIFT is so funny. It's a paradoy of the series with both the PS2 and SIGN characters. I love Subaru wacking Crimson Knight with her axe ^^;

I totally forgot to mention, but I finished Devil May Cry yesterday! XD I'm so proud! I was on easy mode ofcourse, but still. I rarely finish games. Only games I recall finishing are Pokemon Red and the 1st 3 .hack. I came oh so close with Disgaea, but my memory card died, due to Sony mailing me a bugged disc (I was SO depressed. I could not smile for a week).
So, yeah, now I can ask for DMC 3 for Christmas :D I've heard not to bother with the 2nd one?

I really want to buy a new game now. Since it's been 2 years since the 'Memory Card Incident'(TM) I feel okay about playing .hack 4, even though I won't have the bonus characters/items from the previous games. But...it's impossible to find in stores now T_T Why didn't these games sell well!? They are the best non-tactics RPGs I have ever played. Even better than Okage, which I only like for the characters, the game play is awful :P

It's just as good as the 1st time I saw it. It's touching to the point of being difficult (painful?) to watch. I don't know why I feel for these characters so much or why I identify with them. I at least know why I feel so close the Fruits Basket characters. It's because they are different from other people and are lonely...
Anyway, I want to read the PSME manga, but the art is way too ugly. I can't feel for poorly drawn characters! Forgive me!

Once again I feel the need to rave about Baten Kaitos. I am having a tremedous amount of fun with this game. Pretty good for a fairly random Christmas gift request (I was only going on an XPlay review).
I know I can't have been the only one to have wondered: 'Why doesn't food rot when in an RPG character's bag for months on end?'. While slightly annoying, the fact that your food rots in this game is pretty awesome. You have to keep a constant eye on your inventory, but I just like that I've never played a game where that happens before.
Another interesting feature: you don't win money in battles. The only way to get money is to take photos during battle and sell them. You get a higher price if they're fully developed. I love when you take a picture of Lyude, how it says it's a very rare photo of hom smiling, because as a soldier, he's been trained not to smile in battle. I guess he's smiling because he's fighting along side his new friends. Kawaii XD I love Lyude. I love how he pronounces 'Concerto'. His wepons are all musical instuments. I also really like some of the things he says in battle, because they sound way too proper and understated XD
Jess, you need this for your Game Cube.

PS: I rewatched ep. 24 of Eva on Adult Swim. Kaworu/Shinji=LOVE. I'm so glad they kept in Kaworu's "I other words, Shinji, I love you." XD (I was really worried they'd cut it out ^^;)

Edit: I don't want to type anything. Playing Baten Kaitos is keeping me busy. It's fuuuuuuuuun~ OMG Lyude looks like a girl. I thought he was a girl in the instruction manual. His equipable items are earrings even ^^; He'll probably be my favorite character, though. Every one else is annoying (Kalas is an incredible jerk)

The Edit II: Speaking of games, slashy_sprite helped me finish Katamari Damacy the other day. What a short game! I need to save up and get We Love Katamari now.
slashy_sprite told me that she and kethron were going to a costume/wig shop. Lucky~! No one will invite me to a costume shop (or anywhere for that matter).

Good news: the swelling went down in my leg today! I made it down the stairs with out moaning and groaning! Yay!

...But, I hurt my left hand playing too much Baten Kaitos this morning. -_- I really hate the design for the Game Cube controller. Compared to the PS2, it just doesn't feel natural to hold at all. It's little, hard to hold, and it's such a stretch to reach the joy stick. I am so not a Nintendo fan.
BK is a neat game so far, though. You gotta love mechanical wings ^^ The battle system is neat too. It's card-based, so it's not just random button mashing like Star Ocean 3, which I've also been playing recently.


Everyone knows I hate romance (for the most part), right? So why am I watching Kita e on Anime Network then? Well, I saw the preview on their DVD Dojo and thought the couple, the 20 year old girl and 40 year old guy, highlighted in the first episode seem interesting. And they are. Somehow ^^; I have to admit the guy is kind of hot. Which is really odd for me to say since I'm usually such a shotacon ^^; I'm not sure if I'll watch past the 2nd ep. It depends on what the next couple is like.
Oh, by the way, Jess, you'd probably like this show. It's all mushy and romantic and whatnot.
Oh yeah, is it just me or do the character desings look very similar to Loveless? It's the shape of the faces.
I've also started watching Slayers Next. I wanted to see Slayers so bad when I was 13. I think I've outgrown the age to enjoy this show now. ^^;


So, I watch the last ep. of FMA last week. I still don't understand what the big deal was. The show was just okay. Better than say, Naruto, but still just okay. Why is it so popular? The story didn't grab me, I had no strong feelings for any of the characters. I guess I'm just destined to not understand any popular series. Except Furuba, but I liked that way before it was even out in the US.

Speaking of popular things, I'm having such an internal conflict as to whether to cosplay Haku or not. Like, I wanna do a group cosplay, but, argh!, must it be Naruto? I don't see my Naruto loving friends trying to watch Outlaw Star and cosplay that with me and blue_rose_sama. If I go Sunday, I was hoping to be Marlene again. But group cosplay is calling out to me! Cannot...escape...the force... *dies*

Also speaking of Cartoon Network anime, now that FMA, Samurai Champloo, and YYH are all over and Eva is almost done, they better be getting some new shows soon.
